ইবির নতুন ওয়েব পোর্টাল চালু

ইসলামী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের নতুন ওয়েব পোর্টাল চালু করা হয়েছে। নতুন এ পোর্টালে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বিভাগীয়, একাডেমিক, শিক্ষক, শিক্ষার্থী ও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় সংশ্লিষ্ঠ সকলের ডাটাবেজ, পরীক্ষার ফলসহ অন্যান্য তথ্য পাওয়া যাবে। রোববার বেলা দুটায় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কেন্দ্রিয় লাইব্রেরিতে এর উদ্বোধন করা হয়।

বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মূল ওয়েবসাইট (www.iu.ac.bd) এর সাথে নতুন এ পোর্টাল যুক্ত করা হলো বলে জানা গেছে। এতে ইবির ওয়েবসাইটে প্রবেশ করে রেজিস্ট্রেশন করে ইউজার হতে পারবেন। রেজিস্ট্রেশনের পর ব্যবহারকারীকে একটি আইডি ও পাসওয়ার্ড দেয়া হবে। পরবর্তীতে ব্যবহারকারীগণ তা দিয়ে লগইন করে পোর্টাল ব্যাবহার করতে পারবেন। একই সাথে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সকল শিক্ষক-শিক্ষার্থীসহ অন্যান্যদের বায়োডাটা সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত তথ্য পাওয়া যাবে এখানে।

পোর্টাল উদ্বোধন করেন ইবি ভিসি প্রফেসর ড. হারুন উর রশিদ আশকারী। এসময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন, প্রো-ভিসি প্রফেসর ড. শাহিনুর রহামন, ট্রেজারার প্রফেসর ড. সেলিম তোহা, ছাত্র উপদেষ্টা প্রফেসর ড. আনোয়ারুল হক, কম্পিউটার সেন্টারের পরিচালক প্রফেসর ড. পরেশ চন্দ্র বর্মন, প্রফেসর ড. জসিম উদ্দিনসহ প্রমুখ।

ইবিতে দেশের প্রথম “ইন্টারনেট অফ থিংস” ল্যাব উদ্বোধন

২১ সেপ্টেম্বর, ২০১৬, বুধবার সকাল ১১ টার দিকে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কেন্দ্রীয় অডিটোরিয়ামে এ ল্যাব উদ্বোধন অনুষ্ঠানে বক্তারা বলেন, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রক্তন ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের উদ্যোগে প্রতিষ্ঠিত এই আইসিই ইনোভেশন ল্যাব হবে একটি কোলাবেরেট প্লাটফরম। যেখানে শিক্ষক-শিক্ষার্থী ও প্রাক্তন শিক্ষার্থীরা সম্মিলিতভাবে নতুন নতুন আইডয়া নিয়ে গবেষণা করার সুযোগ পাবে। যেখানে থাকবে তথ্য প্রযুক্তির ট্রেন্ড এর সকল সরঞ্জাম। প্রাথমিক পর্যায়ে এই ল্যাবে ইন্টারনেট অফ থিংস নিয়ে কাজ করা হবে। যেমন সেন্সর, রেসপেরিপিসহ বিভিন্ন ধরনের হার্ডওয়ার থাকবে। এ ল্যাবের প্রধান কাজ হবে বিভিন্ন উদ্ভাবনী প্রযুক্তি নিয়ে কাজ করা। যেখানে উন্নয়ন ও গবেষণায় বর্তমান শিক্ষার্থীদেরকে অংশগ্রহণ করানোর মাধ্যমে তথ্য-প্রযুক্তিখাতের দক্ষ জনশক্তিতে রুপান্তরিত করা সম্ভব হবে। অনুষ্ঠানে বিভাগের সভাপতি শরিফুল ইসলামের সভাপতিত্বে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ভিসি অধ্যাপক ড. রাশিদ আসকারি। বিশেষ অতিথি ছিলেন, প্রো-ভিসি অধ্যাপক ড. মো: শাহিনুর রহমান, ট্রেজারার অধ্যাপক ড. সেলিম তোহা, অধ্যাপক ড. শামসুল ইসলাম, আইসিই বিভাগের সিনিয়র শিক্ষক অধ্যাপক ড. মাবুবুর রহমান প্রমুখ।

3. Laptop Charger & Extension Power code.
